Anthony Chambers | North America Brand Director- Diversity Equity &. Inclusion | Nike

A Detroit native, Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University in three years. While working toward an MBA from Oakland University, he worked in HR at Sodexo, filling jobs at Detroit Public Schools for janitors, electricians and other contractors. His partnership-building efforts eventually led to a regional role at Sodexo..

Chambers has since worked in DEI leadership roles at Toyota, Keurig/Dr. Pepper, Salesforce and Google, where he led an initiative at Google Maps to make it easier to find Black-owned businesses and a certification program to help people without four-year degrees connect to tech jobs at the company. The program is currently in place in Chicago and Detroit. He is currently at Nike serving as the North America Brand Director in Diversity Equity &. Inclusion.

Lily Lamboy | Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion | Blue Shield of California

Dr. Lily Lamboy is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Blue Shield of California, a non-profit healthcare organization with a mission to provide sustainably affordable healthcare to all Californians. Prior to joining Blue Shield, she served as Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Stripe, a financial technology company, and led a DEI-focused consulting practice. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Stanford University, where her research focused on the role organizations play in creating a just society. Lily is a member of an activist global theater collective called AnomalousCo, and in her free time loves boxing, music, and cooking. She lives in Berkeley with her husband.

Erica Johnson | Head of Diversity, Equity and Belonging | Chime

Erica Johnson is Head of Diversity, Equity, Belonging and Social Impact at Chime. In this role, she oversees the team responsible for making Chime an inclusive and equitable workplace as well as a responsible corporate citizen. Previously, she spent nine years at Nitro Software Inc., most recently serving as Vice President of the People organization. During her tenure, she built out the people, engagement, workplace, and culture teams across three continents and through IPO. Erica also serves on the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir (OIGC) board and is an advisor at large for People Tech Partners. When she’s not engaged with her community or helping businesses maintain great people-focused cultures, you can find her gardening, hiking, or trying out a new recipe. She resides in Oakland, CA.

Beth Halel Trame | Senior Program Manager Lead | Google

Beth Trame began her career in tech startups building Square's customer service team. She spent most of her days finding and hiring some of the best customer service agents in the Bay Area. Moving to Lyft, Beth continued building customer service teams with her practice of focusing hiring on diversity in many forms: gender, age, background, race, skill sets, and more. She is always looking for ways to hire talent that could grow with the business. Now at Google, Beth focuses on hiring as a cross-functional interviewer. Finding candidates that bring individuality and broad skill sets, she pays attention to bias and the need for constant vigilance both for herself and when teaching others why interviewing is the most important part of building any company from the ground up.

Paria Rajai | CEO + Founder | ModelExpand

Paria Rajai is the CEO of ModelExpand, an inclusive workplace strategy firm focused on radically accelerating the presence of underrepresented people in the workforce. The firm partners with companies to build diverse and inclusive workplaces through strategic consulting, workshops and events. They have partnered with Fortune 500 companies and growing startups, and their work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and CultureAmp.
